Dr. George Urban received a Doctorate of Medicine from Safarik University Medical School in 1974, and completed a residency and fellowship in Neurology at the Municipal Hospital, Kosice, former Czechoslovakia, where he worked until 1984 as a chief of Electrophysiological department. Dr. Urban is a native of Presov, former Czechoslovakia and came to the United States in 1984. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. He joined the staff of the Diamond Headache Clinic in 1990. He is currently on the staff of Ascension Saint Joseph – Chicago and is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, and a Lecturer in the Department of Medicine (Neurology) at Loyola University of Chicago’s Stritch School of Medicine.

 “As a migraine sufferer, I understand people with migraine, I can better appreciate their pain, different symptoms, and decreased quality of lives. It is my utmost interest to improve their well being, daily activities, social and personal lives. I have a strong interest in the treatment of complex headache patients with different comorbidities, cluster headaches, and daily persistent headaches; and I have over a decade of experience administering injection treatment and different nerve blocks.”
