Betsy J. Pepper, M.D.

(Staff Physician, Diamond Headache Clinic)

"When I treat my adolescent patients, I do it partly as a mom myself. Not only do I truly enjoy working with them, I also like taking the non-medicinal approach as the first layer of treatment.”

Dr. Pepper received a bachelor's degree from the University of Chicago, and completed her medical education at Rush Medical College in Chicago. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center and a residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Chicago. She has been elected a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.

Dr. Pepper joined the staff of Diamond Headache Clinic in 1994, and is currently on staff at Saint Joseph Hospital in the Department of Medicine. She also serves as a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, and Lecturer, Division of Emergency Medical Services, Loyola University Chicago/Stritch School of Medicine.

Her 30-plus years of experience in medicine covers diagnostic and cross-sectional care, including pediatric and geriatric patients, as well as pregnant women.
